CYPDA continues to promote the development of appropriate basic structural

Environmental Protection Agency
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which includes the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS), is a department of the Queensland Government. The EPA strives to protect Queensland’s natural and cultural heritage, promote sustainable use of its natural capital and ensure a clean environment.

Cape York Peninsula Land Use Strategy
The Cape York Peninsula Land Use Strategy (CYPLUS) was a joint initiative between the Australian and Queensland Governments.
Stage 1 involved data collection, issues identification and analysis of opportunities and constraints.
Stage 2 involved the development of a coordinated strategy for sustainable land use and economic and social development.
Stage 3 consisted of implementation and evaluation.
